Mouse Anti-DNA Ligase 1 (DNL1, LIG1, DNA Ligase I, Ligase I DNA ATP Dependent, MGC117397, MGC130025, Polydeoxyribonucleotide Synthase [ATP] 1) (Biotin)

LIG1 encodes DNA ligase I, with functions in DNA replication and the base excision repair process. Mutations in LIG1 that lead to DNA ligase I deficiency result in immunodeficiency and increased sensitivity to DNA-damaging agents.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1.2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.  For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa810-919 from human LIG1 (NP_000225) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human LIG1.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
