Mouse Anti-EDEM2 (ER Degradation-enhancing alpha-mannosidase-like 2, C20orf31, C20orf49, UNQ573/PRO1135) (MaxLight 650)
MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.
Involved in endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) that targets misfolded glycoproteins for degradation in an N-glycan-dependent manner. It lacks mannosidase activity. Extracts misfolded glycoproteins, but not glycoproteins undergoing productive folding, from the calnexin cycle.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
