Mouse Anti-F13A1 (Coagulation Factor XIII A Chain, Coagulation Factor XIIIa, Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase A Chain, Transglutaminase A Chain, F13A) (HRP)
Factor XIII is activated by thrombin and calcium ion to a transglutaminase that catalyzes the formation of gamma-glutamyl-epsilon-lysine cross-links between fibrin chains, thus stabilizing the fibrin clot. Also cross-link alpha-2-plasmin inhibitor, or fibronectin, to the alpha chains of fibrin.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Full length recombinant corresponding to aa1-732 from human F13A1 (AAH27963) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).

Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human F13A1.
