Mouse Anti-KNTC1 (Kinetochore Associated 1, Kinetochore-associated Protein 1, FLJ36151, KIAA0166, Rough Deal Homolog, hRod, HsROD, Rod) (APC)

This gene encodes a protein that is one of many involved in mechanisms to ensure proper chromosome segregation during cell division. Experimental evidence indicated that the encoded protein functioned in a similar manner to that of the Drosophila rough deal protein. [provided by RefSeq]

Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa2100-2209 from human KNTC1 with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human KNTC1.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
