Mouse Anti-MUT (MCM, Methylmalonyl-CoA Mutase, Mitochondrial, Methylmalonyl-CoA Isomerase)
MUT is the mitochondrial enzyme methylmalonyl Coenzyme A mutase. In humans, it is a vitamin B12-dependent enzyme which catalyzes the isomerization of methylmalonyl-CoA to succinyl-CoA, while in other species this enzyme may have different functions. Mutations in MUT may lead to various types of methylmalonic aciduria.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
