Mouse Anti-NUAK2 (NUAK Family SNF1-like Kinase 2, Omphalocele Kinase 2, SNF1/AMP Kinase-related Kinase, SNARK, OMPHK2, DKFZp434J037, DKFZp686F01113, FLJ90349) (PE)

Stress-activated kinase involved in tolerance to glucose starvation. Induces cell-cell detachment by increasing F-actin conversion to G-actin. Expression is induced by CD95 or TNF-alpha, via NF-kappa-B. Protects cells from CD95-mediated apoptosis and is required for the increased motility and invasiveness of CD95-activated tumor cells.

Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa521-629 from human NUAK2 (NP_112214) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE).
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human NUAK2.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
