Mouse Anti-PLSCR1 (Phospholipid Scramblase 1, PL Scramblase 1, Ca(2+)-dependent Phospholipid Scramblase 1, Erythrocyte Phospholipid Scramblase, MmTRA1b) (Biotin)
May mediate accelerated ATP-independent bidirectional transbilayer migration of phospholipids upon binding calcium ions that results in a loss of phospholipid asymmetry in the plasma membrane. May play a central role in the initiation of fibrin clot formation, in the activation of mast cells and in the recognition of apoptotic and injured cells by the reticuloendothelial system.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Full length recombinant corresponding to aa1-319 from human PLSCR1 (AAH21100) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
