Mouse Anti-PMS2 (Mismatch Repair Endonuclease PMS2, PMS1 Protein Homolog 2, DNA Mismatch Repair Protein PMS2, PMSL2) (Biotin)
PMS2 is involved in DNA mismatch repair. It forms a heterodimer with MLH1 and this complex interacts with other complexes bound to mismatched bases. Mutations in PMS2 gene are associated with hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer, Turcot syndrome, and are a cause of supratentorial primitive neuroectodermal tumors.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa763-863 from human PMS2 (NP_000526) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
