Inhibitor of apoptosis stimulating protein of p53 (iASPP) plays a central role in regulation of apoptosis and transcription via its interaction with NFkB and p53 proteins. At present, the iASPP gene is thought to encode three isoforms; isoform 1 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm, whilst isoforms 2 and 3 are nuclear proteins. iASPP is highly expressed in the heart, placenta and prostate. iASPP has been shown to have oncogenic properties in human breast carcinomas.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
