PITX3 is a member of the RIEG/PITX homeobox family, which is in the bicoid class of homeodomain proteins. Members of this family act as transcription factors. This protein is involved in lens formation during eye development.

Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Partial recombinant protein corresponding to aa282-380 from human PTX3 with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
