Mouse Anti-RGS13 (Regulator of G-Protein Signaling 13, MGC17173)

Inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits thereby driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form. Binds to both G(i)-alpha and G(q)-alpha.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa60-160, from human RGS13 (NP_658912) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human RGS13.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
