Mouse Anti-RTN2 (Reticulon-2, Neuroendocrine-specific Protein-like 1, NSP-like Protein 1, Neuroendocrine-specific Protein-like I, NSP-like Protein I, NSPLI, NSPL1) (Biotin)

This gene belongs to the family of reticulon encoding genes. Reticulons are associated with the endoplasmic reticulum, and are involved in neuroendocrine secretion or in membrane trafficking in neuroendocrine cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.  For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa1-101 from human RTN2 (NP_005610) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human RTN2.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
