Mouse Anti-SC65 (LEPREL4, NOL55, SC65, Synaptonemal Complex Protein SC65, Leprecan-like Protein 4, Nucleolar Autoantigen No55)
This nucleolar protein was first characterized because it was an autoantigen in cases on interstitial cystitis. The protein, with a predicted molecular weight of 50kD, appears to be localized in the particulate compartment of the interphase nucleolus, with a distribution distinct from that of nucleolar protein B23. During mitosis it is associated with chromosomes.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Partial recombinant corresponding to aa270-379 from SC65 (NP_006446) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
