Mouse Anti-SNAP 29 (SNAP29, Synaptosomal-associated Protein 29, SNAP-29, Vesicle-membrane Fusion Protein SNAP-29, Soluble 29kD NSF Attachment Protein) (FITC)

SNAP29 is a protein involved in multiple membrane trafficking steps. This protein binds tightly to multiple syntaxins and is localized to intracellular membrane structures rather than to the plasma membrane. While the protein is mostly membrane-bound, a significant fraction of it is found free in the cytoplasm.

Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Full length recombinant corresponding to aa1-258 from SNAP29 (AAH09715) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human SNAP29.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
