Mouse Anti-STARD3 (CAB1, MLN64, StAR-related Lipid Transfer Protein 3, Metastatic Lymph Node Gene 64 Protein, Protein CAB1, START Domain-containing Protein 3, FLJ41370) (APC)
This gene encodes a member of a subfamily of lipid trafficking proteins that are characterized by a C-terminal steroidogenic acute regulatory domain and an N-terminal metastatic lymph node 64 domain. The encoded protein localizes to the membranes of late endosomes and may be involved in exporting cholesterol. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Sandwich FLISA: The detection limit for recombinant GST tagged STARD3 is 0.3ng/ml as a capture antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Full length recombinant corresponding to aa1-445 from human STARD3 (AAH08747) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
