Mouse Anti-STX4 (STX4A, Syntaxin-4, Renal Carcinoma Antigen NY-REN-31)

Plasma membrane t-SNARE that mediates docking of transport vesicles. Necessary for the translocation of SLC2A4 from intracellular vesicles to the plasma membrane. Together with STXB3 and VAMP2, may also play a role in docking/fusion of intracellular GLUT4-containing vesicles with the cell surface in adipocytes (By similarity). May also play a role in docking of synaptic vesicles at presynaptic active zones.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant corresponding to aa19-120 from human STX4A (NP_004595) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human STX4A. Species Crossreactivity: mouse.
