VEGF Receptor 1 is also known as FMS-related tyrosine kinase 1(FLT1). Oncogene FLT belongs to the src gene family and is related to oncogene ROS . Like other members of this family, it shows tyrosine protein kinase activity that is important for the control of cell proliferation and differentiation. FLT is mapped to 13q12. VEGF receptor 1 signaling is essential for osteoclast development and bone marrow formation in colony-stimulating factor 1-deficient mice.

Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
