Rabbit Anti-CADM2 (IGSF4D, NECL3, Cell adhesion molecule 2, Immunoglobulin superfamily member 4D, Nectin-like protein 3)
Applications
This gene encodes a member of the synaptic cell adhesion molecule 1 (SynCAM) family which belongs to the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily. The encoded protein has three Ig-like domains and a cytosolic protein 4.1 binding site near the C-terminus. Proteins belonging to the protein 4.1 family crosslink spectrin and interact with other cytoskeletal proteins. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq] Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 10-15ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to 16aa from human CADM2.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CADM2. Species sequence homology: Gorilla, gibbon, monkey, marmoset, bovine, canine, bat, elephant, panda, equine, rabbit, porcine, opossum (100%), mouse, rat, hamster (94%), platypus (88%), turkey, chicken, xenopus, pufferfish, stickleback (81%).

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
