Rabbit Anti-CTR1 (Copper transporter 1, COPT1, hCTR1, Solute carrier family 31 copper transporters member 1, SLC31A1)

The protein encoded by this gene is a high-affinity copper transporter found in the cell membrane. The encoded protein functions as a homotrimer to effect the uptake of dietary copper.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 15ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to human CTR1.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human SLC31A1/CTR1. Species sequence homology: Gorilla, orangutan, gibbon, monkey, marmoset, canine, elephant, panda, rabbit, opossum, platypus (100%), mouse, rat, bovine, hamster, equine, porcine, turkey, chicken (94%), xenopus (88%), pufferfish (81%).
