Rabbit Anti-SLC39A6 (LIV1, ZIP6, Zinc transporter ZIP6, Solute carrier family 39 member 6)
LIV-1/Slc39A6 belongs to the LZT (LIV-1 subfamily of ZIP zinc transporters) subfamily of zinc transporters. These proteins control the levels of zinc in cells, which is an essential ion for cells that plays a role in controlling the cellular processes of the cell, such as growth, development and differentiation. Originally isolated from breast carcinoma, high levels of LIV-1 have been associated with better outcomes for breast carcinoma patients.
