Mouse Anti-Kir (KIR2D, Killer Cell Immunoglobulin (Ig)-like Receptor, CD158a, CD158b, P50.3) (APC)
The kIR family consists of transmembrane glycoproteins of the Ig superfamily expressed on human Nk cells and a subset of human T cells which they are involved in recognition of either MHC class I molecules or unknown ligand on target cells and inhibit cytotoxic activities.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Recombinant protein corresponding to aa44-202 from human kIR2D expressed in E.coli.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).

Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human KIR2D.
