Rabbit Anti-SLC29A2 (Equilibrative Nucleoside Transporter 2, 36kD Nucleolar Protein HNP36, Delayed-early Response Protein 12, Equilibrative Nitrobenzylmercaptopurine Riboside-insensitive Nucleoside Transporter, Equilibrative NBMPR-insensitive Nucleoside Transporter, Hydrophobic Nucleolar Protein, 36kD, Nucleoside Transporter, ei-type, Solute Carrier Family 29 Member 2, DER12, ENT2, HNP36) (APC)

SLC29A2 mediates equilibrative transport of purine, pyrimidine nucleosides and the purine base hypoxanthine. It is less sensitive than SLC29A1 to inhibition by nitrobenzylthioinosine (NBMPR), dipyridamole, dilazep and draflazine.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 2.5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 4-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to ARILSTNHTGPEDAFNFNNWVTLLSQLPLLLFTLLNSFLYQCVPETVRIL
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human SLC29A2.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
