Rabbit Anti-SNF1LK (Serine/Threonine Protein Kinase SIK1, Salt-inducible Protein Kinase 1, SIK-1, Serine/Threonine-protein Kinase SNF1-like Kinase 1, Serine/Threonine-protein Kinase SNF1LK, SIK1, SIK)
SNF1LK play a transient role during the earliest stages of myocardial cell differentiation and/or primitive chamber formation and may also be important for the earliest stages of skeletal muscle growth and/or differentiation. It also plays a potential role in G2/M cell cycle regulation. It inhibits CREB activity by phosphorylating and repressing the CREB-specific coactivators, CRTC1-3.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1.25ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 4-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
