Rabbit Anti-Rho-associated Protein Kinase 2 (ROCK2)

Rho-associated protein kinase 2 (ROCK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that phosphorylates many important signalling proteins involved in the regulation of cytokinesis, smooth muscle contraction, the formation of actin stress fibers and focal adhesions complexes as well as malignant cell transformation, tumor invasion and metastasis.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 0.5-1ug/ml. Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa35-51 from human Rho-associated protein kinase 2. Species sequence homology: mouse
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, 5% BSA, 0.05% Thimerosal, 0.05% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile ddH2O.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human Rho-associated protein kinase 2, at 160kD. Species Crossreactivity: Rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
