Mouse Anti-Tubulin, beta (Alpha tubulin, Alpha-tubulin ubiquitous, K ALPHA 1, TBA1B_HUMAN, TUBA1B, TUBB, TUBB1, TUBB2, TUBB2A, TUBB5, Tubulin alpha-1B chain, Tubulin alpha-ubiquitous chain, Tubulin beta 1b, Tubulin beta 2A, Tubulin beta, Tubulin K-alpha-1.)
(Alpha tubulin, Alpha-tubulin ubiquitous, K ALPHA 1, TBA1B_HUMAN, TUBA1B, TUBB, TUBB1, TUBB2, TUBB2A, TUBB5, Tubulin alpha-1B chain, Tubulin alpha-ubiquitous chain, Tubulin beta 1b, Tubulin beta 2A, Tubulin beta, Tubulin K-alpha-1.)

Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha-chain.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:3000-1:10,000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:300-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Purified recombinant protein corresponding to human Tubulin beta protein fragments expressed in E. coli. (NM_178014; P707437). Cellular localization: cytoplasm
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide, 0.1mg/ml BSA, 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes endogenous levels of human Tubulin beta. Does not cross-react with related proteins. Species Crossreactivity: mouse, monkey, goat, hamster, rat

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
