Mouse Anti-Collagen, Type Ⅳ (ICH, HANAC, POREN1, arresten)

Collagen IV is comprised of a third chain (alpha-3) together with the 2 classical ones, alpha-1 and alpha-2. COL4A3 gene is localized to 2q36-q37 by analysis of somatic cell hybrids and by in situ hybridization. The alpha-3 chain of type IV collagen induces autoimmune Goodpasture syndrome. Mutations in the COL4A4 and COL4A3 genes cause familial benign hematuria.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Frozen).
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Handling
Store at -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, store at 4˚C for one month. Can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20˚C for long term. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Human collagen type IV.
Form
Ascites, supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100ug/ml.
Specificity
Recognizes human Collagen, Type Ⅳ. No crossreactivity with other proteins.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
