Rabbit Anti-APOA5 (Apolipoprotein A-V, Apo-AV, ApoA-V, Apolipoprotein A5, Regeneration-associated Protein 3, RAP3, UNQ411/PRO773)

Apolipoprotein A5 is encoded by the ApoA5 gene. It is known that coronary heart disease is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in the world. This apolipoprotein is a major risk factor indicating coronary artery disease. Several lipoproteins such as chylomicrons, VLDL, and HDL contain apolipoprotein A5, which affects lipoprotein metabolism and determines plasma triglyceride levels.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control
Human Liver Tissue Lysate
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to 15aa from near the C-terminus of chicken ApoA5.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.02% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes chicken ApoA5. Species Crossreactivity: human.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
