Mouse Anti-Erythrocyte Specific (RBC, Red blood cells, Erythroid Marker, Erythrocyte specific protein) (FITC)
(RBC, Red blood cells, Erythroid Marker, Erythrocyte specific protein)
Mouse Anti-Human Erythrocytes Clone SFL23.6 MAb is directed against an erythroid cell surface antigen. It shows a well defined reactivity with cells of the erythroid lineage at all stages of maturation in the peripheral blood, bone marrow, and fetal liver. Non-erythroid lineages are negative by Flow Cytometry. Although the exact identity of the antigen has yet to be determined, it has been shown to be distinct from Glycophorin A. This MAb is useful in the diagnosis of erythroleukemia, identification of bone marrow erythroid precursors, gating erythroid nucleated precursor cells from malignant cells in bone marrow specimens.
Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control
RBC. Placenta
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Hepatocytes from 20-22 week-old human fetus. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic
