Rabbit Anti-Somatostatin Receptor 3 (SSTR3, Somatostatin Receptor 3, SS3R, Somatostatin Receptor Type 3, SSR-28, SST3, SS-3-R, SS3-R)

Somatostatin receptor type 3 (SSTR3) is a Somatostatin Receptor. Unlike SSTR1 and SSTR2, SSTR3 is functionally coupled to adenylyl cyclase.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10-15ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to 16aa from the C-terminus of human SSTR3. Species sequence homology: monkey.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.|
Specificity
Recognizes human SSTR3. Species Crossreactivity: gibbon and gorilla.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
