Mouse Anti-EIF4G3 (Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 4 gamma 3, EIF4GII, OTTHUMP00000002722) (APC)
Probable component of the protein complex eIF4F, which is involved in the recognition of the mRNA cap, ATP-dependent unwinding of 5'-terminal secondary structure and recruitment of mRNA to the ribosome. Thought to be a functional homolog of EIF4G1.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-515 from full-length human EIF4G3 with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
