Mouse Anti-FHIT (Fragile Histidine Triad gene, AP3A Hydrolase,bis(5'-adenosyl)-triphosphatase, Diadenosine 5',5'''-P1,P3-triphosphate hydrolase, Dinucleosidetriphosphatase, Tumor Suppressor Protein, AP3Aase, FRA3B) (FITC)

This gene, a member of the histidine triad gene family, encodes a diadenosine 5',5'''-P1,P3-triphosphate hydrolase involved in purine metabolism. The gene encompasses the common fragile site FRA3B on chromosome 3, where carcinogen-induced damage can lead to translocations and aberrant transcripts of this gene. In fact, aberrant transcripts from this gene have been found in about half of all esophageal, stomach, and colon carcinomas.

Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to aa31-130 from human FHIT with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified
Specificity
Recognizes human FHIT.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
