Rabbit Anti-PTBP2 (Polypyrimidine Tract-binding Protein 2, PTB, nPTB, PTBLP, brPTB, nPTB5, nPTB6, nPTB7, nPTB8)
The protein encoded by this gene binds to the intronic cluster of RNA regulatory elements, downstream control sequence (DCS). It is implicated in controlling the assembly of other splicing-regulatory proteins. This protein is very similar to the polypyrimidine tract binding protein but it is expressed primarily in the brain.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:20-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
