Rabbit Anti-IRGM, ID (Immunity-related GTPase Family M Protein, Immunity-related GTPase Family M Protein 1, Interferon-inducible Protein 1, LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 Macrophage Protein 47 Homolog, LRG-47, IFI1, IRGM1, LRG47) (MaxLight 550)

MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000.

IRGM is a putative GTPase required for clearance of bacterial and protozoan infections. It funtions in the innate immune response, most likely through regulation of autophagy. IRGM may also function in the regulation of proinflammatory cytokine production and in macrophage adhesion and motility. Detects a band of ~32kD in human brain cell lysate.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: detects a band of ~32kD in human brain cell lysate. Immunohistochemistry: paraffin Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to 14aa from near the internal region of human IRGM.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with MaxLight™550.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human IRGM. Species Crossreactivity: mouse and rat

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
