Rabbit Anti-ICAM1 (ICAM-1, Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 1, CD54, P05362 ICAM1_HUMAN)

Intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM1) is a single-pass  type 1 membrane glycoprotein that belongs to the ICAM family. ICAM1 is typically expressed on endothelial cells and cells of the immune system. ICAM-1 is also expressed in all types of glial cells including astrocytes and microglia.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa503-516, YNRQRKIKKYRLQQ, from C-terminal of human ICAM1.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in 5mg BSA, 0.9mg sodium chloride, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg sodium azide. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile ddH2O.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human ICAM1. Predicted length of 532 residues and a MW of 58kD.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
