Presenilin-2 is a multi-pass membrane protein and component of the gamma-secretase complex. 2 isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 1ug/ml. Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required. Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1ug/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
