Mouse Anti-Interleukin 1 Receptor Accessory Protein-like 1 (IL-1 R8, TIGIRR-2)

The Interleukin 1 receptor family comprises at least nine members. All family members possess three immunoglobulin (Ig)-like domains in their extracellular region. Most members also have an intracellular TIR (Toll-like receptor/IL-1 receptor) signaling domain that is also conserved in the Toll-like receptor family. A subtype of the IL-1 R family, SIGIRR (single Ig domain-containing IL-1 R-related molecule) differs from the other nine members by having only one Ig domain.

Interleukin 1 receptor accessory protein-like 1 (IL-1 RAPL1), also known as IL-1 R8, Oligophenin-4 (OPHN4) and three immunoglobulin domain containing IL-1 receptor-related 2 (TIGIRR-2), is a member of the IL-1 receptor superfamily.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:500-2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human IL-1 R8
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile PBS.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes human IL-1 R8.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
