Rabbit Anti-FCGRT (IgG Receptor FcRn Large Subunit p51, IgG Fc Fragment Receptor Transporter Alpha Chain, FCRN) (FITC)

This gene encodes a receptor that binds the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulin G. The encoded protein transfers immunoglobulin G antibodies from mother to fetus across the placenta. This protein also binds immunoglobulin G to protect the antibody from degradation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human FCGRT.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 0.03% Proclin 300, 50% glycerol. Labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human FCGRT.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
