Mouse Anti-EPHA5 (EPH Receptor A5, CEK7, EHK1, HEK7, TYRO4) (FITC)
EPH Receptor A5, CEK7, EHK1, HEK7, TYRO4

This gene belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediating developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. Receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and 2 fibronectin type III repeats. The ephrin receptors are divided into 2 groups based on the similarity of their extracellular domain sequences and their affinities for binding ephrin-A and ephrin-B ligands. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
EPHA5 (NP_004430, 234aa-333aa) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified
Specificity
Recognizes EPHA5.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
