Mouse Anti-KCNJ15 (Potassium inwardly-rectifying Channel, Subfamily J, Member 15, IRKK, KIR1.3, KIR4.2, MGC13584) (FITC)
Potassium inwardly-rectifying Channel, Subfamily J, Member 15, IRKK, KIR1.3, KIR4.2, MGC13584
Potassium channels are present in most mammalian cells, where they participate in a wide range of physiologic responses. The protein encoded by this gene is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel. The encoded protein has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
KCNJ15 (AAH13327, 1aa-375aa) full-length recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Specificity
Recognizes KCNJ15.
