This gene encodes a protein that is involved in cytokinesis. The encoded protein is at high level during S and G2/M and drop dramatically after cell exit mitosis and enter G1. It is located in the nucleus during interphase, and becomes associated with mitotic spindles in a highly dynamic manner during mitosis, and localizes to the cell mid-body during cytokinesis. This protein has been shown to be a substrate of several cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). At least three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed. Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
