Rabbit Anti-HAP40 (Huntingtin-Associated Protein 40, HAP-40, HAP 40)

HAP40 is a 40kD Huntingtin-associated protein. It is likely to contribute to the function of normal huntingtin and is a candidate for involvement in the aberrant nuclear localization of mutant huntingtin found in degenerating neurons in Huntington's disease.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Residues aa314-325 [DGHGQDTSGQLP] of 40kD mouse HAP40.
