Apoptosis inducer NBK, BIKLK, BIP1, BP4, Bcl-2 interacting killer, NBK
Accelerates programmed cell death. Association to the apoptosis repressors Bcl-X(L), BHRF1, Bcl-2 or its adenovirus homolog E1B 19k protein suppresses this death-promoting activity. Does not interact with BAX.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Peptide corresponding to the sequence around phosphorylation site of threonine 33 (G-M-T(p)-D-S) derived from human BIK.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
