Rabbit Anti-COL5A2, NT (Collagen alpha-2(V) Chain)
Type V collagen is a member of group I collagen (fibrillar forming collagen). It is a minor connective tissue component of nearly ubiquitous distribution. Type V collagen binds to DNA, heparan sulfate, thrombospondin, heparin, and insulin. Type V collagen is a key determinant in the assembly of tissue-specific matrices (By similarity).
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 ELISA: 1:20,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal region of human COL5A2.
