Rabbit Anti-Rak
FRK, PTK5, RAK, Tyrosine-protein kinase FRK, FYN-related kinase, Nuclear tyrosine protein kinase RAK, Protein-tyrosine kinase 5

Non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase that negatively regulates cell proliferation. Positively regulates PTEN protein stability through phosphorylation of PTEN on 'Tyr-336', which in turn prevents its ubiquitination and degradation, possibly by reducing its binding to NEDD4. May function as a tumor suppressor.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000 ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to the Internal region of human Rak.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human Rak. Species Crossreactivity: mouse and rat

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
