Human Anti-His-Tag, CT (Polyhistidine Tag) (Chimeric)

Recombinant monoclonal antibody to His tag (C-terminal) with variable regions (i.e., specificity) from the hybridoma 3D5. This is a chimeric human antibody, based on the original mouse IgG2b format. Manufactured using a proprietary recombinant platform technology.

Epitope tags are useful for the labeling and detection of proteins using immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunostaining techniques. Because of their small size, they are unlikely to affect the tagged protein’s biochemical properties.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Purified His-tagged Fab fragment.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.02% Proclin-300.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes Carboxy-terminal oligo-histidine tags (6x His tags) of fusion proteins.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
