Mouse Anti-CTGF (CCN2, Connective Tissue Growth Factor)

CTGF, also known as CCN2 or connective tissue growth factor, is a matricellular protein of the CCN family of extracellular matrix-associated heparin-binding proteins (see also CCN intercellular signaling protein). CTGF has important roles in many biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, angiogenesis, skeletal development, and tissue wound repair, and is critically involved in fibrotic disease and several forms of cancers.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to aa27-349 from human CTGF expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide, 10% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human CTGF.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
