Rabbit Anti-SAR1A (GTP-Binding Protein SAR1a, COPII-Associated Small GTPase, SAR1, SARA, SARA1)
Involved in transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus (By similarity). Required to maintain SEC16A localization at discrete locations on the ER membrane perhaps by preventing its dissociation. SAR1A-GTP-dependent assembly of SEC16A on the ER membrane forms an organized scaffold defining endoplasmic reticulum exit sites (ERES).
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-198 of human SAR1A.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.3, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.

Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
