Slamf1 is a high-affinity self-ligand important in bidirectional T-cell to B-cell stimulation. SLAM-induced signal-transduction events in T-lymphocytes are different from those in B-cells. Two modes of SLAM signaling are likely to exist: one in which the inhibitor SH2D1A acts as a negative regulator and another in which protein-tyrosine phosphatase 2C (PTPN11)-dependent signal transduction operates.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to the middle region of Mouse Slamf1
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 2% sucrose, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes SLAMF1. Species Crossreactivity: bovine, canine, goat, guinea pig, equine, human, mouse, porcine, rabbit, rat, sheep
