Rabbit Anti-GASP1
G-protein coupled receptor-associated sorting protein 1, GASP, GASP-1, GASP1, GASP1_HUMAN, Gprasp1, KIAA0443

May modulate lysosomal sorting and functional down- regulation of a variety of G-protein coupled receptors. Targets receptors for degradation in lysosomes. Belongs to the GPRASP family. Interacts with cytoplasmic tails of a variety of G- protein coupled receptors such as D2 dopamine receptor/DRD2, delta opioid receptor/OPRD1, beta-2 adrenergic receptor/ADRB2 and D4 dopamine receptor/DRD4.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:100-1:500 ELISA (peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to human GASP1.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes endogenous levels of human GASP1.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
