Rabbit Anti-USF2
bHLHb12, Class B basic helix-loop-helix protein 12, FIP, FOS interacting protein, FOS-interacting protein, Major late transcription factor 2, Upstream stimulatory factor 2, Upstream transcription factor 2, USF 2, Usf2, USF2_HUMAN,

Transcription factor that binds to a symmetrical DNA sequence (E-boxes) (5'-CACGTG-3') that is found in a variety of viral and cellular promoters. Interacts with MAF. Efficient DNA binding requires dimerization with another bHLH protein. Binds DNA as an homodimer or a heterodimer (USF1/USF2).

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:500-1:3000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in TBS, 5% milk, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:100-1:500 ELISA (peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to human USF2.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes endogenous levels of total human USF2. Species Crossreactivity: mouse and rat

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
